Q: Playground equipment and attractions
A: While we provide a safe and family friendly environment, accidents do happen. Use of all equipment and facilities are at your own risk. There is to be no standing or climbing on slides. YOU MUST SLIDE FEET FIRST! Do not attempt to stop on the slide. NO pushing, shoving, running through the maze and facility. NO BARE FEET! Proper footwear should be worn at all times. One rider at a time in all ride rides. NO flips or cartwheels on the jumper pillow. Follow other rules as posted at attractions.
Q: Are the hayrides handicap accessible?
A: Yes, we do have handicap accessibility for our hayride. If you need assistance, please inform the driver before boarding. We want to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun experience at Thomas Family Corn Maze.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: Yes, we gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept electronic forms of payment such as Apple Pay, VENMO, Chive, etc.
Q: What should I do if I experience a problem while visiting the corn maze?
A: We want to make sure every visitor has a great experience at the Thomas Family Corn Maze. If you have a problem, please consult a staff member or ask for one of the owners. We will do everything we can to make sure you are a satisfied customer!
Q: Are there restrooms on the farm?
A: For your convenience, we provide plenty of clean Porta-Jon facilities throughout the activity area, including some that are handicap-accessible. There are hand sanitizer bottles available at the ticket booth and concessions.
Q: What ages will enjoy the Thomas Family Corn Maze?
A: All ages! We offer something for everyone. Teens and preteens enjoy the mazes, giant slides, jump pillow, barrel train and more. Little ones love attractions including the corn pits, barrel train, playground, swing sets and sandboxes. Adults like experiencing the mazes, hayride, pedal cars, and relaxing while the kids stay busy with activities. This year we have also added “rat rollers”!!
Q: What do I need to bring for the corn maze?
A: Be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes (flip-flops will be a mistake even if the weather is warm!)
Q: Is your maze haunted during October?
A: No! Our maze is designed to be fun for all, all the time. It is never haunted.
Q: What are the maze paths like?
A: Like any land, the paths can be uneven or soft in places, but basically are clear and easy to navigate. The paths can be muddy if we have had a lot of rain.
Q: What if I get lost in the maze?
A: Don’t worry…we check the maze every Thursday to find stragglers! We recommend bringing bug spray and a pillow along — so you can sleep through the night if you end up getting lost. No, seriously, we would never allow that. We have staff roaming the mazes to assist guests. If you have trouble, you can call for assistance and we will come and find you 704-982-1672. You can feel completely confident enjoying our maze.
Q: How big is the maze?
A: The maze is approximately 10 acres. It includes three individual mazes.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks to the farm?
A: Sorry, we ask that you not bring outside food or drinks. We have concessions available on site. This includes coolers.
Q: Are pets allowed at the corn maze?
A: OFFICIAL Service animals are always welcome, but please leave pets at home. Due to insurance requirements, we will not let any other pets or animals into the Thomas Family Corn Maze.
Q: Can I bring a camera?
A: We encourage guests to snap lots of pictures to capture the memories they make at the maze.
Q: Guest safety..this should go without saying…
A: It should go without saying…but we will. Absolutely NO firearms, drugs or alcohol on the premises. Also…NO OPEN FLAMES in or near the corn maze. The Thomas Family Corn Maze is meant to be a great day for the family and we want everyone to feel safe and have a great time. If any of the above are violated, you will be asked to leave…NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: Smoking is ONLY allowed in the parking lot OUTSIDE of the entrance gate. This is for the safety and health of all guests. This includes all cigars, cigarettes, vapes, etc. Your armband will allow you to re-enter the maze. NO SMOKING IN THE MAZE! You will be asked to leave if you are caught smoking inside. No exceptions.
Q: May I drop children off at the farm?
A: For everyone’s safety, an adult must accompany children when visiting the farm. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by and adult.
Q: Groups?
Church Groups and school field trips are welcome with call ahead reservations and appropriate chaperones. With groups of young children or classrooms, you will be required to have 1 teacher, parent or school provided chaperone per 10 children. This one teacher/ parent/ chaperone will get in for free. A list of these volunteers will need to be submitted prior to your arrival. Others who wish to attend will need to pay regular admission.
